Dear Residents,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to inform you that the development application for 5305 and 5307 Highway 7 East has been scheduled for our next development services meeting.

The application proposed to demolish the existing single detached house and build 32 stacked, back-to-back condominium townhouses with underground parking.

The applicant has filed an appeal at the Ontario Land Tribunal regarding this development. As a result of the appeal, the application will be discussed confidentially by the development services committee on Tuesday April 8th starting at 9.00 am. (service awards are done first, 9.30 am would be the approximate time that our regular agenda should start).

While the application will be discussed confidentially, residents can still participate in the public portion of the meeting. Those wishing to speak can submit a Request to Speak form online or email clerkspublic@markham.ca.

Written deputations may be sent to the same email address by 5 pm on Monday, April 7th.
Residents can also attend the meeting in person at the Council Chambers or virtually via Zoom. If residents do not have access to email, participation by phone is available during the meeting by calling 905.479.7760.
