Dear Residents,
I have had a number of phone calls and emails over the past week regarding the final restoration of Phase 1A of the flood protection project. The contractor will be delivering a notice to affected homes over the next few days with an update on the remaining restoration work still to be completed. Please find a copy of the notice here.
You may also have received a notice from York Region regarding their watermain project.
This reflects a change in scope of work, as Church St cannot accommodate their new watermain. As a result, the watermain will now be installed along Hawkridge Avenue instead.
Thank you for your patience and understanding over the past two years, as this important work has progressed. These upgrades are critical to helping protect homes in the community from flooding.
